  Most business owners in Ghana are complete illiterates and deeply ignorant about the expectations of consumers outside our Banana Republic. Not only must the labels list ingredients but can pass any tests.

  I can confidently say, this is due to Labels not being produce by professionals. As professional Graphic Designers, we are thought the do's and dont s in the field but manufacturers give Unprofessionals like photographers who will do it for something ( noko fio ni gbormor ba ye) or software managers to execute, leaving labelling in Ghana bad. Graphic Artist are either diverting or quiting the profession. Artist are slowly dieing.

  it takes legislatvie action for the public to act in accepatable manner, once upon a time anybody could sell and medicine in even America and claims that ti cures so and so disease, until congress passed the SAFETY and EFFICACY LAWS, so you have to demonstrate that your product is safe and cures the ills they are intended to cure- Laws don't work in Ghana, so nothing will work!!!
