I guess Accra International Airport needs jet bridges more than a new runway. It is pathetic to see passengers, after very long flights, disembarking into - sometimes - heavy rains. Passengers can not afford to wait for the rains to subside and I have never seen pilots running their engines to keep the air condition on either. Ghana does not have the congestion that warrants multiple runways, over facilities that protect passengers from the vagaries of the tropical weather. Think, people!

There is nothing that can be done to KIA. Nothing. This fools travel all the time they don't see anything. Building a block or a hut within two months and give it a big name will solve no problem. The whole airport has only one runway for taking off and landing. The only runway also serves as a strip for taxing to take off mark. It has reached its super maximum capacity, it was built in the 50s. Just vist JKIA, (Nairobi) Oliver Tambo,(Johannesburg) Bole(Addis Ababa) Kigali (Rwanda) Lusaka etc.among a few and you see what it means by expanding an airport. These are all airports in black Africa. I don't want to mention any of the Arab countries because it will take centuries when human beings are building it and not fools like NDC government currently. For NDC it cannot be done period!!!!!!!! Just use your heads, it is not meant just for growing hair
