This barge is not free. 9 million USD a month is not that much if everyone (president and ministers included) pay their electricity bill. It's only an issue if we think the barge is free.

We could have managed with the existing thermal plants while taking steps to build more that would largely depend on gas. Mahama blindly boasted "I will fix it BUT manage it". Now he realizes we would still have to manage it. What kind of leaders are these????

The issue is not capacity but lack of money to pay for crude to fund the power shortage. So as the government is broke who is going to pay for this?
