  What is the game plan of the Ministry of Finance? Wake up in the morning and contemplate on where else can we get a loan? Have they thought of how can we cut down wasteful expenditure of the government? The Ghana government has more SUVs running on government expenses than the British or German government. Expensive and useless government official travels abroad staying in five- star hotels and collecting fancy allowances. Power generators in the homes of government officials and in some cases the generators are running when the power comes on because there is nobody at home to switch over or the house assistant at home does know how to switch off the generator. If Terkper's team cuts out all the useless expenditure which heavily drains on the government treasury there would be no need to borrow all the time..

  Yes, the amount of waste,corruption and mismanagement in Ghana under this administration is unbelievable.Monies meant for projects finds its way into private pockets.Joining political parties and especially joining the ruling government has become a magnet attracting all sots of crooks and gangsters.No amount of borrowing can change Ghana for the better.It will be foolish for anyone to think that this can go on for ever.Sooner or later lenders will refuse to give money to Ghana.
