  Excellent perception. Only idiots with less intellects bids stupid Mahama on high debt. How do we spend the money we don't have or have to borrow recklessly? It is only a thief's strategy to live on granted loans and pretend to be better not worse. Tell them Prof, with this high debt, the country could never resist economic earthquakes or any further financial astrorides shocks ! Mahama is a Bushman!

  Bank of Ghana raising the policy rate to base 26 is going to affect the economic growth either negatively or stay stagnant.Commercial Banks are going to increase their rates and already buisnesses have been crippled all because of Dumsor so to aquire more capital to even sustain their companies are very difficult.Interest rates are now very high and value on your quarateral too has diminished therefore you will not get any bank to establish Letters of Credit for you to import raw materials.Banks are now interested in given loans to government through Treasuery Bills.Capital Expenditure create growth but if you do not have enough then your company beconmes distress,and instead of government bailing them its rather competing them at banks.We are in christmas season importers will find it very hard to get foreign currency to import goods.That will be left to the government to use it to access to its debts.THANK YOU.
