Which isn't the case, looking at the vehicles since they are always within the latest model of cars running elsewhere. Just put your mind to it and stop fooling yourself. I think the reporter means it took 12 years to develop the car. You don't just start assembling a car from nothing. The main work is on the drawing board and takes years to develop.

We are going to use our own products thereby helping the economy to grow quickly. I pray for God's protection, long life and good health for the leader and founder Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo , his son who is the C.E.O and all his engineers. I strongly believe that he has trained so many people who can use same knowledge to produce more of these cars in his absence.Glory be to God.

The sad thing about us Ghanaians is that we fail to recognize natural born talents and we rather look for degrees and people who have been to Oxford, Havard etc. Most of the pioneers of manufacturing in the developed world were people who never went to university. Look at Bill Gates: someone who never completed university. The Wright Brothers, who made the first airplane were just technicians. Look at Howard Hughes, a self-trained engineer who never went to university and yet even now, his company is still manufacturing aircraft. Sadly, here, we look down on these people and fail to recognize their potential. Some people are born engineers and when they fulfill their destinies they end up employing many university graduates and making an impact on the world.

All one needs is patent a design and there you go people over the world ready to make parts for you. Apple is big example. Do you think BMW, MERC, VW, etc have all their parts etc. made in Germany? The man Kantanka is doing well, but the fact is he is assembling parts imported from China. And there is nothing wrong with that, but he must not pretend he is manufacturing: he is assembling parts that have been produced somewhere.

Another fact is, his whole enterprise CANNOT design and produce just one car engine. It is not technically possible, because it takes a LOT of MONEY, complex infrastructure and very brilliant engineers and technicians (mechanical, electrical, IT) to design and produce a state-of-the-art car engine.

A modern vehicle assembly line is almost 1km long and employs hundreds of people and high tech robots. They claim 3 of them! This is not even a CKD assembly, probably they don't put much more than tires on low quality Chinese ...
