  we always have reason to put our incompetence on. the electricity problem in Ghana started just few years ago, so what has been the reason we could not manufacture goods when the electricity was good. the Ghanaian entrepreneurs and businessmen prefer to import rather than manufacture, that's what the president is talking about.

  mr president you are perfectly right about your message but the whole problem is Capital, is difficult to borrow in the bank and expensive with the micro-finance and people are unwilling to pay back loans.

  With high interest rates, taxes, and high tariffs, how can they produce cheaply compared to what is out there in the market. Reduce all taxes so they can invest n make profit. Talk talk president.

  It is an excellent idea to have intelligent metering system. It would be an uphill task to extend the meters to residences and business, so that we monitor efficiently the use of electricity. This would contribte to solving our energy crisis. But how do you meter huts and structures that are not in the national grid?
