If Jon Benjamin is bold enough to tell the truth at all times without bias, as has been portrayed of him, let him be more direct on how all Ghana's Oil Deals were contracted, starting with the Kosmos-EO-Group Jubilee Oil Contract.
When it comes to such truths, many outspoken Diplomats often asserting their opinions publicly on their Host Nations then play the same Cold War Politics with the truth.
I bet Jon Benjamin would not touch that particular topic for fear stepping on the toes of, or his unwillingness to offend, culpable entities from his own backyard or allied Nations like the USA.
If he could locate any such faulty deals involving, say, Ghana and the Russians or the Chinese, I bet my bottom dollar that he would be pummeling the culprits about it with unbridled, raving specificity, especially that the NDC Government is believed to be less favored by the UK and the United States than its NPP Opposition.
Often, these Western emissaries abhor Nationalist Governments which are not pathetically pro-Western, or have significant relationships with the East. The Cold War is still being fought in Economic arenas around the World to the detriment of the poor Third World non-aligned Countries.
Could Jon Benjamin deny that?
It is amazing how folks like him would not strongly criticize the secrecy surrounding the Cartels that control our Cocoa Prices but take a light swipe at the our Oil Deals.
Is it because the current NDC Administration is known to have contracted its own Oil deals in secrecy, after the controversial Jubilee Oil Deal?
Long Live Ghana!!!
