  Ghana needs to be a producing country and not one that consumes. Over 75 per cent of goods in the country is imported and most are consumables. This is not a country like Ghana should be doing.

  The slump in the economy and depreciation of the cedi is one reason. The other reason is the number of malls that keep opening and their location. West hills Mall is a good example of a poorly located mall. It serves a vicinity that is mostly low income residents who cant afford the things in the mall. With options such as Accra Mall, it will be hard to justify why anybody would drive there from East Legon. This is where AMA comes in with better planning and location of Malls.

  The G.D.P. of the Country is appalling, all that the Government is doing is taxing the businesses, without energy, how can anyone progress in their businesses and hire people ?, the depreciation of the Country is words.
  So the only thing the consumers can do is to go on window shopping and nothing else. The only thing the politicians know is to make themselves rich through looting, they have no idea how to run the Country or put the citizens into a right track to move the Country forward so we make one step forward, then we move three steps backward, we are in limbo.
  We have been blessed with all these resources, and we are still suffering, how stupid could African Politicians could be?
