  This article by Mr. Donkor, while addressed to the Ghanaian business community applies as well to many sectors of the Canadian business community at this time. The fall of the Canadian dollar against the US dollar (the US is our primary trading partner), accelerated by the Federal Reserve raising of interest rates in the US. As I speak power outages across the country are being announce. Ours power outages are usually weather related but they do impact business, especially smaller ones. While there may be different factors involved the consequence on business is the same. The suggestion of associations or organizations from which business owners may learn from other businesses is an excellent one I will share. I'm grateful to a former student, Cephas Akuklu, for sharing this article.
