This is very important. Even in UK the government does this to help build affordable homes. Ghana government's lust for money makes them put a blind eye on things that will benefit their own people.

Find a better way, research and come out with a better way of producing the cement here in Ghana cheaper than the imported so as to be able to sell your cement cheaper than the importer to render their business not necessary but if you create artificial shortages to periodically increases your prices then no one can sympathy with you. Is only greed for more money and leave comfortably is driving most businessmen.Is an open market, if the association don't think fast they would soon be clossing their businesses just like the poultry industryh that even guinea fowls are now being imported from countries that learnt the trade from us.There some few of less thatn 1% that are striving to formulate poultry feed for their farms and is working well with them, unlike the former when feeds would have to be imported, so were are learning .You don't just established an industry and relent on improvement efforts but must always look for a better source of production, that is the key.

This will create competition. GHACEM and DIAMOND CEMENT have exploited Ghanaians for too long. Dangote is not as greedy and excessive-profit oriented like you. Reduce your prices by 20% else you'll be out of business.
