Nigeria set up the Bank of Industry (BOI)to support entrepreneurs and industry, just check their website for the progress they have achieved so far. "Yen nfa notu hunu nko Basel Asore".
BOI offers funding to help companies modernize with efficient machinery and equipment. That is the way to support industrialization. Not confab !!
We know what is required to industrilize, funding, finance, capacity building, modern machinery and equipment, training. Not COMFABS.
EDAIF reported readiness in supporting Cassava Processors with funding to make HQCF available to end users. In the end, some moron has decided that they will set up large processing centres to achieve this, when evidence at Ayensu Starch shows that such ventures are having difficulties in getting raw materials supplies. A simple look at Nigeria would have informed them that the best way was support SME cassava processors and local farmers to aggregate the HQCF which will be more sustainable than establishing large factories. C:AVA project identified this simple fact and EDAIF needed to just consult them before this awful decision to establish three large processing centre in Ashanti, Brong-Ahafo & Northern Regions of Ghana.
Kasapreko imports ethanol when they can use HQCF to achieve the same outcome for their products. The breweries are using cassava for their beers, why are our leader so deceitful. The take all this monies and all they can do with is is build houses. Shame !!

Copy cut president.This is a Copy cut president John Dramani Mahama is making.If Ghanaians may recall,it was in the news that Nana Akufu Addo visited Apostle Safo to interact with him and promise to buy most of his cars for champaign and also when Ghanaians gives him the nod or their mandate to rule he support local industries to strive and even want to talk to Apostle to partner his research centre to make National support by government .Because president John Mahama has nothing to offer he also copy cut Nana Addo from SADA to free education and not supporting businesses where was him when businesses were folding up and leave the country?This non-thinking president has prove that he is not a leader but copy cut.
