This rescue is nothing more than a temporary lifeblood to a dying company. What is needed is a government who understands that Chinese imports of cheap, inferior textiles are what have destroyed our local textile industry. The government is of course clueless about what to do. The textile industry itself needs to form alliances between themselves and engage in collective action. A well-thought out strategy can redeem this situation.
