"The Member of Parliament for Bekwai, Joe Osei Owusu, on Wednesday March 2 alleged on the floor of parliament that First Lady Lordina Mahama was putting up a building at the premises of the Flagstaff House for personal and private use.
The President and his propaganda machine are rather engaging in "Lexiconic" nonsense. What is the meaning of this;
"What is referred as a warehouse is actually a storehouse for the use of the President and constructed by the state"
You can call it whatever you want, a warehouse, a storehouse, a chicken coop or whatever, was this storehouse part of the original plan of the Flagstaff house?
What is the President going to use the storehouse for? To sell contracts to the highest bidder and store stolen goods?
We spent over $100 million to build this Presidential Palace, are we supposed to believe there were no rooms designated to store stationaries and other Presidential provisions?
So if my friend Joe Osei Wusu have said a storehouse has been constructed at the premises of the Flagstaff house, would the President and his propaganda machine accepted it? Seems the President not only hate the word INCOMPETENT but also hates the word WAREHOUSE. Warehouse store goods and the storehouse built at the Flagstaff house is also storing goods so what is the difference?
When did the state construct this storehouse at the seat of government and apart from the President and his staff, who else knows about it?
Wouldn't it had been prudent for members of Parliament to have been informed to avoid speculation?
How much was paid to construct the warehouse, oh sorry, storehouse, the President hates the word warehouse.
So the President decides he wants a warehouse, sorry again, a storehouse for his wife to store her NGO goods so he unilaterally decided to add a chicken coop to the Flagstaff house to mess up the aesthetic beauty of place or this is going to be used to raise chickens as Ndc promised to turn the place to if voted into power? Hopefully they will not build another place inside the compound to raise goats.
What is the difference? Accra looks despicably nasty as a result of filthy attachments to properly constructed buildings along our streets. It does not look good.What does the presidency need a storehouse for in this huge edifice anyways?

Zambia: UPND - Did UPND Sacrifice GBM?
By Paul Mwitwa
I love politics and any field that is related to leadership because sometimes or should I say in most cases you can never predict what will happen with the political landscape. This is due to the fact that you are always in suspense as you don't know where that spinning coin will fall. I once wrote that politics calls for people to be smart. You always have to outsmart your opponent(s). You have to be a step or two ahead. However, what I don't like is that some people are crookedly smart. They play cards like a rat.
In this case one should have a team that works around the clock in order to study the other camp. A point I alluded to sometime back. This move should be for both inter or intra party politics. People think that opponents or political enemies are just found in opposing or rival political organisations. They are also found inside or within parties. In the actual fact it is more competitive inside a political party than it is across parties. This is because when dealing with inter party competition you do it as a collective force unlike intra party politics where you mostly do it alone.
As we go towards elections, battles will be fought more within parties. People will seek to be adopted either as Running Mate/s(RM), Mayor, Council Chairpersons, Member of Parliament (MP) or Councillors. So before you look at or guess who might be your political competitor you have to look at who might be your competitor within your party. Some people will be nice to you and make you think whatever might happen they will be behind you.
