Ghana Telecom was sold to Vodafone because of stealing and corruption by Nana Antwi Boasiako, the then Board Chairman and Dickson Oduro Nyaning the then Managing Director. Two Ashantis in a corruption spree and naked stealing. They aided Telenor then managing the company by stealing about $900 million dollars every month from the company for more than two years.. Telenor changed it's name to Telecom Management Partners just to hide their identity in order to perpetrate the fraud. When asked by the Ministerial Committee set up to investigate the fraudulent activities and the rationale behind the change of name, the Board Chairman shamefully replied that he was not aware of the change of name which was on all company documents. When Oduro-Nyaning was invited to give evidence by the committee, he flatly refused to attend and because it was a ministerial committee without subpoena powers he could not be forced to appear.Almost all the GT workers have been sacked by Vodafone; most of them are wallowing in poverty or ead now. The blood of these innocent workers will sure be visited on Oduro-Nyaning and Nana Antwi-Boasiako, if not already visited. As for Oduro-Nyaning, he is unable to live in his own house but moving from one residence to the other from time to time..
