The inter dependency of fiscal and monetary policies in fighting inflation cannot be overemphasized. It takes to tango so goes the proverbial saying. No economy, and I mean, no economy can combat inflation with monetary policy alone. Deputy Governor Narh is day dreaming, and probably out of his depth.

Fiscal policy is the prerogative of the irresponsible Ghana government - history tells us that the Ghana, and for that matter, African governments are bereft with economic principles and lack discipline in the day to day management of the affairs of their nations. BoG can be optimistic all it wants, but the irresponsible Ghana government will thwart every effort to attaining a single digit inflation. These morons in government have no clue what inflation does to an economy and they do not care. As long as we have these dummies in government - these vermin whose main concern is to win an election, Ghana could never achieve a single digit inflation, this is just a dream and nothing else.
