  Their Oshkosh truck transports the biggest US military tank, the 72-tonne Abrams tank, across all types of terrain.

  Typical. Not a word about the particulates and other pollutants in the emissions from the cone towers of coal-fired power plants.
  
  All the communities surrounding South Africa's Eskom's coal-fired power plants are constantly protesting about the spike in lung infections and deaths from respiratory diseases.
  
  The Shenzan Energy Group knows perfectly well that even China is closing down coal-fired power plants for precisely that reason.
  
  How foolish they must think our ruling elites are for allowing them to build such health-destroying power plants in Ghana.
  
  The people of the villages around the plant, will forever curse the VRA, and President Mahama's government, when they start dying from respiratory diseases.
  
  This shortsighted lunacy sums up present-day Ghana perfectly: a morally-bankrupt society governed by individuals who only rethink about what they can personally profit from - not what will enhance the common good. Pity.

  No only China is closing coal fired power plants, so are The United States of America and Europe. This in an attempt to reduce CO2 emissions as well as air pollution.
  
  Clean energy sources are replacing them in the form of solar and wind, whereby wind is the major player.
