Hon. Jinapor and his government knew what the problems were with the ECG tariffs, even before he made the statement on the floor of parliament. The deputy minister had no time to waste over the high tariffs anymore. Nana Akufo Addo earth shattering statement, situating the ECG tariffs to rents, was enough to kick the ass of this recalcitrant government to act with dispatch. Is it not out of joint for this government to have come out with a committee's report, within a week of it being set up? Who do they think they are deceiving? Certainly, I am not one of them. Typical of the Ndc government, it cannot shed it's zebra stripes. Another committee, we are told, will now implement the recommendations of the first committee, by the end of this month. We will have the patience to wait for the unravelling of the layers of electronic, technical and financial engineering which had resulted in the killer ECG tariffs.

Take a look at NEDco as well. My bill had short up from Ghc 200-300/month between October -December 2015 to Ghc 874/month in March 2016.
