  Govt should rise above the lip service , the nauseating lamentation abt what is wrong n provide or attract business men to invest in seed development n supply of inputs and assist in the accompanying cultural practices, established as many milling plants as possible as well as storage facilities. they shd also provide the needed funding to make it happen, simple...
  in ensuring that inputs diversion are eliminated, farmers own shop should be established across every district n subdistrict n regional levels to ensure that subsidised agric inputs actually get to farmers as n when and at the price they want it....stop the talking shopping and act now....i just don't see why it should take more than five years to turn around the fortunes of agric sector its just long a period to do so...lack of true commitment is essentially the bane of our problem..
