  I BELIEVE THE ANSWER TO OUR PROBLEMS IS NOT TO ALLOW THE WATERS OF THE VOLTA RIVER TO FLOW BACK INTO THE OCEAN AT ADA. THE GHANA GOV'T SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE HER OWN ENGINEERS TO DIVERT MOST OF THE WATERS THROUGH SUBTERRANEAN ...

THE GHANA GOV'T SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE HER OWN ENGINEERS TO DIVERT MOST OF THE WATERS THROUGH SUBTERRANEAN CHANNELS BACK TO AFFIENYA TO ODUMASE TO FEED AKOSOMBO DAM. THE TURBINES CAN BE RE-BUILT OR RENOVATED WITH THE HELP OF U.S.A. ENGINEERS WHO ORIGINALLY SUPPLIED THEM.
  LOCAL LABOUR/MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT WILL BE NEEDED. EVEN IF IT COSTS $1.0bn, THAT WILL BE MONEY WELL SPENT. THANKS.

  There is at least one power plant in Tenn. USA where water is released them pump back up hill when the rate and need for power is low..But more dams should be built in Ghana especially to catch flood waters...Most dams on riv ...
