The truth is except for what we learn from the books and methods based on the ideas of our slave masters, we cannot think of any new ideas of our own (no creativity), and until we are able to do that, our continent will remain exactly as it is now. I don't know how exactly the Four Asian Tigers or Dragons achieved their "miracle years" and became what they are today, but I think Africa will need something similar to get out of its woes.

The article stated that while 70% of seniors graduating in the Western universities were graduating in the liberal arts and 30% in science and engineering, the opposite was the case in the Asian countries with 75% of their graduating seniors in Science and engineering and 25% in the liberal arts. Today the Asian countries, Japan, China, South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong control the electronics industry. China moved from a poor underdeveloped nation in 1960 to become the second largest economy in the world in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Chinese don't issue bond (borrow). They rather buy US Treasury bonds so that they can have access to the US dollar for their investments. The US dollar is the world reserved currency. It is recently reported that China holds $3.12 trillion in US bonds.

Dr. Awuah please take your case to the president of Ghana. Please Dr. don't be discouraged your school is already one of the top schools in Ghana with or without that certification.
