    I am wondering is the technology exist to recycle the Akosombo Dam to maintain constant flow of water to generate power. It seems like a very logical and pragmatic. But the question to Mr. Anokye is, at what cost?

    Nothing is impossible. SErious and feasible engineering feats have been used in many countries to boost the level of the lake at night or at low peak periods.

    Recycling water back into the dam may sound plausible but may not be practical. Besides the engineering challenges, one major environmental effect will be the effect on the ecosystem downstream.

    I had always believed that a certain re engineering of the akosombo dam to re direct some water source into it would help but we know politicians, if this will fetch them no monetary gain,they won't explore the option
