PROFESSOR Alhassan, if GMO's were SOO SAFE, why are counties in the US, the birth and parent market of GMO, either banning them, or DEMANDING labeling? As shoddy as our scientific institutions here are - antiquated and untrustworthy labs, FAKE PhD'S, etc. how do we even begin to monitor the poisons that these greedy companies "DONATE" or later sell to us.? You're so brainwashed not to see Ghana's REAL problems with food security.
1. Processing: GMO produce (tomatoes, etc) will not can themselves.
2. Distribution: GMO produce (tomatoes, corn, cassava, etc. will not grow wings and fly from the farmlands to the markets.
So Instead of bribing our parliament to ram the Plant Breeder's Bill down our throat, ask them to process what we already harvest, as our Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah did, and build more rural roads for distribution.
Ghana shall rise again. 7 years ago
