It is good to upgrade the Tamale Airport to perhaps, what to some, is seen as an international airport. But it is equally necessary to fix the roads. Majority of the people of that region, travel a lot by road, for mainly economic reasons. Besides people, majority of some travel on cattle trucks and uncomfortable lorries. Foodstuffs, cattle and akomfem, are also, carried across patches of bad roadmetworks down to the South. Manufactured goods are likewise, shipped to the Northen parts of Ghana by road. Priority is the game here. Besides, what about the Ndc mantra : " I care for You " Did the Ndc government force their way to political power for the rich in society or the poor and wretched of the earth?

And the propaganda - this is not the first time that international flight has taken off from Tamale. In 2008, South Africa football team flew straight from South Africa to Tamale.

PresidenT Kufuor once flew from Tamale to AU Summit in Addis Ababa.

In the 70s, hajj flight left Tamale to Saudi Arabia.

Therefore NPP should stop the lies that this is the first time international flights has occurred from Tamale airport.

Better to build a proper motorway between tamale and Kumasi that to build an airport for only 0.0001% of elite Ghanaians.
