The thinking behind the airliner will make it fail even faster. An airliner is just like the STC, Metro buses, and any other commercial vehicle. They are to be operated for profit and not as a fashion parade.

I will bet anyone that this airline will NOT have commercial flights by October. Politicians (no matter NDC or NPP) will make promises....but reality will be much different.

It will boost Ghana's economy but it must be managed very carefully...one mistake will give it the same fate as Ghana International Airlines. If you run an advert in other countries they will come over.

Being an expert in Airline Management , I believe that a start up airline in Africa can survive only on 2 conditions :
1. The Head and Mid Management HAS to be foreigners ..(and if you look at all the succesful airlines including Emirates,etihad or Cathay..it is the case ) This prevents corruption, helps to focus on targets and avoids interferences between business and feelings.
2.If an airline ,especially in Africa where the budgets and the market are fluctuant , wants to be profitable , it has to aim small and stay sharp on small "repeat business " lines .. basically the strive for greatness has NEVER served a government nore a business in Africa .. stay sober and realistic ! (Get inspired by Emirates or else but dont think you can copy the model of expansion - the expenses and cost of fuel/ manpower is totally different over there ..10years with Emirates , I know what I am talking about ????)....
Anyway hope this new project will be dealt respecting these 2 key points and that the customer service promise will be fulfilled...
