  For what is the Government going to borrow this amount? We are already in debt to our chin, and we are still contemplating adding this much to it? Do our leaders really care for the Nation and the rest of us?

  Surely, this sounds like an Election funding scheme by the NDC. I cannot help being cynical that should the loan be approved by the Parliament, the incumbent might have plans to chip around its edges to fund its re-election.
  
  I would hope the Parliament would freeze all Government borrowing from now till after the Elections.
