I a Ghanaian-born living in the UK. Let me make this clear; the United Kingdom only do what is in its interest. This UKGCC is another way of UK's plan to make Ghana a dumping ground for its manufactured good after BREXIT. They have no intention of investing in any enterprise that will significantly benefit Ghanaians. Remember these are the very people who enslaved and colonised Ghana and, plundered its resources. When will Ghana learn it's time we do things our way to benefit our own people? If you doubt me,just think about this; UK manufactures guns and other weapons of mass destruction. But, does UK use these weapons? No, they are sold to Africa and the Middle East where citizens kill each other daily while there's relative peace and tranquillity in the UK.Wake up Ghana and wake up Africa!

Serwaa, you have already given the answers; we are"seriously napping" & how dare you try to disturb our comfortable sleep in our "beggar's paradise"! If you really believe in what you are saying, leave your comfortable UK, come down to this zika-mosquito infested shithole called Ghana and see if you can educate us to stop our "holy tribal wars" more effectively fought with British weapons; or whether you can motivate us enough to produce a bicycle tyre. However you may be proud to know that we still produce the "hottest & stiffest" alcoholic "akpeteshie" on earth!!!

The ideals of the commonwealth are sense and fair and obviously important in a polarised world where the French communes keep to themselves and the Spaniards the same and so on, but commonwealth must be commonwealth and not an association of two breaks where there're some more equal than others. That would be an animal farm commonwealth.
I watch with interest.
