  Please where was this pump piloted and what has been the result. How many farmers are comfortable and happy using this pump and willing to acquire more. Is it really true that this pump can pump water to a distance of 200 meters? By manual paddling? Please my experience did not confirm this. Finally what cost benefit analysis has been done on this pump compared with other cheaper Chinese pumps in the market going for around 350 to 400ghc. Looking at the age of our farmers with their children in school how comfortable and convenient is it to operate this energy demanding pump

  Dear Divino, the pump has actually being in use in East Africa for sometime and its already making a difference to farmers lives. Adorsofarms Ltd in Anyinam has tested these pumps and found them to be able to pump water a distance of 200 metres. Yes people of all ages can use it and it is really quite easy. One type is like pumping a bicycle tyre and the other is like peddling a bike.
  I cannot comment on the Chinese pumps but what I can say about the KickStart pump is that when you purchase it, you get a one year warranty with it.
