    The Jute and shoe factories ran night shifts in Kumasi when I was a boy. Ghana was on its way when fools came to take over and ruined it.

    The issue of demand for the products is a significant factor. Of course, the products have to be sold when they are produced. If a market does not exist for the products, how can a 24-hour production scheme be sustained?
