had it been a private man driving with even one-day expired road worthiness certificate he would have been dragged to court or the police will do their normal thing.
Don't just halt the exercise but prosecute them as well

It beats one's imagination that the buses could be in the country for so long and we get to the stage of trials and the very first, basic and fundamental things like the insurance and registration had not been done. Yet it was launched with funfare. I am disappointed that the Police did not arrest the drivers/buses; another lapse in our national discipline. How do we expect to develop this country when we cannot or fail to do these little things? I pity who ever becomes President of this country because some Ghanaians seem to continually fail in doing their part of the work.

What do you expect when the whole thing is not good for this country. I have always said this and today my own party NDC the party in whose ideologies I have believed in for so long a time now has proved me right that our so called elected people have no sense of commitment to the very people who have put them there. As far back as 2013 a loan was taken to parliament for this BRT and I and shamefully those dishonourable fools in parliament approved it.
So this is it you went to take a loan to come and fight your own people out of an industry you are suppose to protect for them. How many drivers can have the kind of job it takes in this our economy to cater for his family. and to top it off you have run buses that do not have the pre-requisit to be on the roads. and nobody said anything about this and drivers are paying VIT, insurance and many other fees day in day out only for a government that is suppose to be protecting their interest to bring in the killer blow to their very livelihood which is suppose to be protected by that same government. Wow what a country what strange people. And you would people who are suppose to e learned people applauding this?

The BRT management should rethink the whole operation of the buses, publicise it, and get the buses back on the roads quickly!
Public transport in Accra must improve - BRT, if run properly, will go a long way towards achieving this.
