  There are quiet a number of rice mills in the north and elsewhere in the country. The problem is retooling to fit a particular size of grain, texture and different moisture content due to so many inconsistent agriculture husbandry. This affects the quality and yield and farmers sometimes a reluctant to use modern mills becuase the grading doesn't favour them. It's a matter of education and perhaps adopting fewer varieties in a growing area.

He should make way now for younger and vibrant brains that he is stifling to get agric going once more

He is an example of decent civil servants and I challenge you to come forward andatch your record against this man. Why do you think he has been in the forefront of Agric from Rawlings, Kuffour, Mills and now even in retirement he is begged to head MofA as a chief Director. It's becuase of honesty and hard work.
