Meteo is a key stakeholder in the Aviation Industry. Unfortunately financial resources from the Aviation Industry are shared between GCAA and GACL. This has affected them greatly as Government budget too is not forthcoming.

Meteo is a key stakeholder in the Aviation Industry. Unfortunately financial resources from the Aviation Industry are shared between GCAA and GACL. This has affected them greatly as Government budget too is not forthcoming.
In fact over 50% of communication between the Air Traffic Controller and the Pilot is weather information, be it overflights over Accra FIR or for approach and landing or take off and climb out. Meteo needs to share the resources from the aviation industry to enable it improve its services for a booming Aviation Industry. The President has to act on this immediately to save this situation.
