Don't let the NDC take credit for anything. NPP is on a campaign to discredit the NDC by painting a bleak picture about Ghana. That way the electorates will vote against the NDC.

It is a step in the right direction, but we need to control the swollen shoot virus menace which has really plagued the cocoa industry, either than that we are doing much ado about nothing about 156 million cocoa trees is infected with the disease that is one of the major causes of decline in yields in cocoa production in Ghana. Research has shown that. we need over 550 million cocoa seedlings for next10 years before we can obtain 1.6million tons of cocoa. The main problems in the cocoa industry are biological and socioeconomic which must be tackled concurrently.

Galamsey is not only going to affect cocoa production but also food production from the farms.Farms are being destroyed for galamsey and lands which can be used for food production are being used for galamsey.Even rivers which are sources for providing fish and drinking water have been polluted.
