  The 2007 education reform did away the teaching of agriculture science in the basic schools. we use to have school gardens where practicals were taught, but the reforms did away with that. Even in the SHS only general agriculture is taught. Go to the colleges of education and there is no a single agriculture science subject taught. it has been merge with integrated science. How can a broad discipline like agriculture be merged with inter. science. The Kufour regime is the cause of our today's problems in agriculture in our schools. All products of Mampong college of agriculture education are 'useless' as they've no places.
