  "We imposed a net-freeze on public sector hiring " from your own mouth. What does it mean? People are retiring and dying and you have placed a ban on recruitment because of the small money collected from IMF.

  No job cuts, really? So how will the NDC stream line the public purse which was a condition of the loan? IMF has asked the government to cut its spending. The government has consistently said that the public sector accounts for the vast majority of its spending (which has caused macro economic instability) and is unable to raise adequate revenue via taxes. Government has swerved paying public sector salaries or increments to salaries. Mahama must think all these strikes or threats to strike (nurses, doctors, judges, teachers....it goes on) have come out of thin air. He must then tell Ghanaians how he will cut spending and satisfy the condition of the loan without stream lining the public sector.....oh wait, he can’t and hasn’t.

  What have you done with teachers who went on study leave without pay and completed University since 2013. Have you forgotten of your letter dated July 2013 instructing all district education offices not recruit new teachers including reinstatement?
