Hello, I am pleading with the current govt n the future govt as well not to listen to the baseless complaints of the local cement producers, especially Ghacem.
Ghacem has for almost 30 yrs exploited Ghanaians by using her monopoly to extort abnormal profit from Ghanaians.
She must recognize that monopoly exists as a theory but not in practice. Time n consciousness n even compete against monopolies. Now there is the cheaper cement from Dangote n China.
There wer times when ghacem deliberately caused shortages n then charged a very high price. Now they want to hide behind allegations of unfair competition to complain against Dangote n regain monopoly again. Naa God punish them.
Ghana is still building infrastructures at a very high cost of the inputs.
We should ignore Ghacems noise n get Dangote cement to build Ghana.

Btw, if Diamond is too worried, they should also start trading with other countries. Many African countries need cement to facilitate buildings.

They have to revise their strategies and be innovative. GHACEM should apologize to Ghanaians, they've exploited Ghanaians for so long. They should use those profits to pay for the cost they claim they are incurring.

we are even praying that, diamond cement should close the company to pave way for Dangote cement to take control. Because we fed up with the local cement with their high prices.
