With all the BRAINS as in PhD etc we cannot owe a plane whereas a private individual owes one. DISASTER for GHANA after turning close to 60 years. All the leaders must bow their heads in SHAME.

National airlines that gradually infused a profit motive in their operations, have survived the storm;y business world. I personally don't believe the government should have no hand in such business ventures. Those business men advocating government involvement, simply want to be bankrolled when they mess up.

What happened to those who managed Ghana Airways? When we gain freedom from the British, Dr. Nkrumah said black man is capable of managing his own affairs. Are we managing our own affairs? Everything is on begging, loan, etc. Why? Why we go to school ? We get all the degrees and become stupid. What God gave to Ghana no nation has even a quarter and yet we still begging. What has happened to our gold, diamonds, bauxite, iron ore, timber you name them. We have been mining gold for 500 years in Ghana, we don't even have a house built with gold for people to fly to come pay to watch. Since all this years gold has been a measure of currency...when you land at ACC ( Kotoka International Airport ) don't even notice if this country has gold. Go to Johannesburg and see no will tell you this place has gold....
