One reason we miserably fail in our governance and policies structure in Africa is because we do not allow our institutions to work. In Western developed societies, the governor of a central bank cannot be removed by a president or Prime Minister. Institutions are allowed to function because bureaucrats and technocrats are not politicians but public servants that serve their departments and country.
