Yes, you are right: the real challenge to developing the country's railways was funding, and that was because your boss and his cohorts, his family and all you lot in ndc emptied the nation's coffers to its bare bottom, and used hardworking Ghanaian taxpayers' monies to buy mansions and hotels abroad, that's how come funding remains a challenge!!

The railway sector needs depth-and-breadth policies and effective implementation to attract more local and international investment in the sector. On the local side, a private sector corporation initiative through an IPO could raise considerable amount of funds to partner with foreign companies with technical expertise to develop railways in Ghana. The NDC government showed no serious initiative or commitment in the railway sector so Bawa-Mogtari should not be jealous about NPP's intentions to emphasize railway as major transportation mode.
