  THE ACCRA KUMASI ROAD SHOULD BE DUALISED. THERE IS NO REASON WHY THE ROAD LINKING THE TWO ECONOMIC CITIES SHOULD NOT BE OPEN TO FAST MOVEMENT.

  Go to Germany, Australia, US and U.K and see how railways and steam engines are connecting communities and bringing up general economic economy up.In Ghana on the other hand even there are no bridges to link communities or railways in remote ears. Yet we talk of tourism but what do the tourists want to see definitely not Accra city. If our Railways system are connected and then tourists could use the service to tour the entire country thus ensuring that people get job and well-paid ones too. Nowhere should be left out. Please Minister study the map work of railways networks in the U.K and other developed countries.

  Jojo, you may be right in saying what you have, concerning the Ministry of Transport and Communication. With regards to placing Railways and Aviation under one entity. If there were a functioning rail system in the country one will accept your view without questioning. But we do not have a going rail system. What we may call a rail system, was built by the British Government at the turn of the century. Sections of this have collapsed and we have allowed it to descend to the sorry state we now have it. The vision of the new government it to virtually build and empower and new rail system. Hence, the Ministry of Railway Development. Ghanaians must be able to travel around the their own country by the cheapest means possible. I see a truly developed rail system to be able to fulfill this dream.

  I DO ADVISE YOU TO VISIT HIS CONTITUENCY AND YOU WILL BE SURPRISED TO SEE ITS INFRASTRUCTURE BROKEN DOWN AND STILL IN SHAMBLES WITHOUT BASIC AMENITIES IN THE 21st CENTURY.
  
  
  THE CREATION OF THIS MINISTRY IS A MAD ADVENTURE ON THE HIGH SEAS, AND WASTE OF PUBLIC FUNDS.
