  This is NOT the 1st time the RAPE of Ahafo by Newmont is being reported; Unfortunately, the rapist always spends a few thousand dollars in bribery to buy support and PR from news media to tout the meagre social intervention, royalties and taxes paid while their negative footprints and HUGE profits are masked.

Let me put this in plain words, somewhere in mid 90s I carried a report on activities of this mining company in the Daily Graphic about payments they made to affected communities and the impact they made on the environment. I argued that compensation paid to individuals are inadequate since the people depends largely on farming. ........
