  I do agree with most of the essential point in the article.
  However, debt has positive and negative facet depending on the purpose for borrowing.
  A debt resulting from purchasing of consumables is negative debt because you only borrow money to satisfy your immediate wants/needs without any form of return on investment.
  On the other hand, if the same amount is invested in an instrument with a return higher than interest you were to be paying on the loan, the debt will result in an asset.
