I fail to see where the bike is 100% bamboo. Could the frame be constructed from bamboo, because all I see from the pictures is steel on the handle bars.

This is a unique innovation and looking at bikes in general, one is at a loss as to where exactly the bamboo bike fits into the class of bikes. Is it a mountain bike, a cruiser, a road bike, sport bike, hybrid bike, touring bike, chopper, cyclocross bike, etc?
What is it exactly? And how does it compare with other bikes in this category in terms of the materials and finish?
The market is very competitive and inasmuch as it is doing well, and seeking to break into the international market, it is important some serious R&D as well as investment is made to make it truly competitive.
Another thing is, are the parts with the exception of the frame made locally?
