You are truely a baby politician and it seems you've not learn any lesson for been in office for eight years apart from stealing. You remember what Atta Mills said with petrol prices when he wanted to be president? He said he will reduce it drastically if we give him the mandate. In the end he increased it exponentially to everyone's surprise and never came down. The point is, if the current government manages its finances very well and puts in place measures to deal with waste, they can easily remove the levies over a period. I will only judge after 2years seeing the debt NDC left in office. We spend over $6million dollars everyday to buy oil to power useless thermal plants just to get power when this billions of purchasing the plant and serving them could have gone to solar and wind. You did us a great disservice and I pray that the NPP uses common sense against selfish interest to wane us from continues tariff increase due to the usage of these thermal plants by investing massively in renewable energy the surest solution for cheaper and stable power.

The new Akuffo Addo administration did not seem to get this, the NDC had stockpiles of the Ghana cedis and were ready to change them to dollars and as a result the cedis was going to be battered severely and subsequently lose value, The situation has not bottomed down yet because they still have a chunk of the cedis at their possession and are ready to change them, it doesn't matter how much the rate will soar. My investigations revealed this just few days after the elections. But l was also in denial and never thought that impact was going be that much. As a matter of urgency the Bank of Ghana should come up with regulatory measures now.

In case you don't have the brains, the young man is trying to say it will be impossible for Akufo-Addo and the NPP to scrap those levies because is the only way possible to sustain an efficient energy policy, and that the NPP campaign message on the matter was just to win votes.
