Matter-of-factly, Corporate Ghana has misplaced priorities; yes, the country is blessed to have peace and stability, but besides that, what are we celebrating? If all these monies being donated by corporate bodies were to go toward supporting social housing, water and sanitation, and basic education in the small towns and villages, and the needed infrastructure for it, surely we would have something worthwhile celebrating in less than a generation away?
You are quick to donate these huge sums of monies for partying and celebrations, while you look on throughout the years when children of school-going age sit in the open and in mud to learn basic literacy! Such a shame!!
