The practice where ministers and their mistresses, wives and family members, as well as pilots and air hostesses enriched themselves at the expense of the previous airlines must stop. How could Delta and other airlines make profits flying in West Africa when we could not?Mismanagement was the cause.We need to run an institution professionally and eschew nepotism, among others. We need people with integrity to run our state institutions like the future airlines. Our weaknesses killed it,and we need to be careful in the near future.

l think government should leave this issue to the private investors to do, they can still employ people without the intervention of government because of past experiences.

A cade in point; British Airways was bleeding so much cash and coming to the UK government time and time again for bail out which compelled Margaret Thatcher to sell it off. Let private investors fly the flag.

Awudu, Kuffour pack it up because the Ghana Airways is not making money since I was born and it is costing the government a lot to maintain. So to me he did the right. Ghana Airways should be private and I mean private.

Then formed a crooked airline with your crooked Mormon partners, claiming there was a huge market for flights between Ghana and Barbados!!! All this after Anane, the transport Minister had looted Ghana Airways to send $100,000 to his white American mistress.

We remember all. How NPP caused massive loss to the state when the state had to contract a a charter company to evacuate stranded passengers from Barbados. We remember all the scams and huge loss to the state. We remember the court ruling against Ghana for a "judgment debt" to the Mormon crooks. Hmmm.
