Not all Ghanaians will use the Accra Dubai facility but with free SHS, almost all Ghanaian children, within a certain age bracket, can have access to it. Look, whiles Ghanains were suffering, and Mahama even acknowledged it by always saying he understands their challenges, Tekper was busy putting heavy tax burdens on Ghanaians to the admiration of NDC members. The question is, how do you over-tax a person who is challenged. All across the globe, it is a good practice to give 15% tax exemption to people who are physically challenged to lessen their burdens and so I find it strange for Mahama to accept that Ghanaians, under his regime, were going through economic challenges yet found it convenient to over-burden them with taxes all with a view of using the revenue accrued for bus re-branding. Who on earth will understand this apart from NDC thieves. The fact is that NDC members are thieves and so needed more money to satisfy their insatiable greed.

Farm animals MUST be commercially farmed like chickens for local consumption and export.Animal ranching is the most cost effective and efficient way to produce meat commercially.With as little as barbed wires and timber/concrete/metal post on a non arable land a very simple cattle/Goat ranch can be built in less than an hour.The barbed wires will keep the herd from wondering off to other people's farms while keeping thieves and wild animals out.Feeding and watering corralled animals is as easy as providing a 50 gallon of water every couple of days and hauling in some of the left overs from a local markets to feed the herd.We could also use the opportunity to create an organized animal feed production industry to supply our poultry farms,pet owners and ranches.This will mean jobs,tax revenue for the country and a independent meat prodution industry to feed the nation.

It is shame for a minister to come out to say that a meat processing factory which was producing corned beef some years ago would now be turned into an abattoir in order to employ about 400 people. What a shame, sham and a cloak thinking. We must raise the barrier if really we are serious in ourselves of becoming independent nation. The whole region where the minister is the head should protest about this initiative.

There was a meat factory in Zuarungu and tomato factory in Pwalugu, not the other way. Is it the reporter who got it wrong or the minister? This is very very shameful, to say the least.

the tomatoes factory is in kwalugu by the bolga-tamale road and the meat factory is in pwalugu by the bolga-bawku road. it's close to, but not in zuarungu. hence the minister is not wrong.
