In the first, you are ignorant of the fact that that the affected citizens started protesting during the NDC period, leading to people being shot and a death resulting on one occasion. For those reasons, many people didn't go out to vote for the NDC, and some actually voted for the NPP.

The NPP inherited the crisis and you think it is hypocritical for them to appeal to the govt after the Police had shot and killed another person? Ok, let them also get guns to defend themselves.

I have seen the pictures of the environmental disaster - dying coconut, mango, etc. trees and vegetation, drying wells -- the operation of this Indian company is causing in the area. The whole eco-system is at risk of being irreparably destroyed just as galamsey is doing elsewhere, thanks to the powerful behind them. We sensible Anlos shall not allow this to happen to our people.
