Wa people re not interested in airport but rather urgent need for slaughter houses to butcher their cows , guinea fowls , goat , sheep and the " expensive meat " - snakes .
Mahama sunk cash into this project because he wanted to canvass more vote but could not succed at the end . The dead goat former president Mahama should have embarked on basis necessities things to help preserve the region . There is a long list to talk about. University of energy an old school( former forestry school), Sunyani market laughing stock, no library, no technical school, nursing school with no structures, no modern sports studium, no factory, housing is a problem and etc. The unfairness treatment of the region is very pathetic by both parties NDC and NPP must be addressed because Brong Ahafo contribute a lot to the national coffers for that matter deserve better. The regional capital Sunyani needs modern infrastructure developments to compete for investors. We have to position the regional capital in good standing to attract foreign and local investment. For your information, the Mahama administration was also putting up a modern regional hospital at Wa which should be nearing completion by now. They were also building a new water project for the people which was at an advanced stage before leaving power. As for those saying that Wa does not deserve an airport because there are no "human beings" or that northerners don't deserve to develop, the least said about them, the better. It is no wonder because their grandfathers criticized Nkrumah when he was building the motorway and Tema harbour because, according to them, Ghana had few vehicles and that our population was small and that the Harbour was too huge a project for us. It is the same mentality that their stupid and lunatic decendant are having: lack of foresight, imagination and common sense. All they harbour is hatred, lies, ethnocentrism and shortsightedness. Meanwhile, I throw a challenge to them to be bold enough to do their checks, and they will see the huge numbers of hospitals, polyclinics, water projects, Schools and road projects that the Mahama administration did, the overwhelming numbers of which were done in the Ashanti, Eastern, Brong Amazon and other regions in the southern part of Ghana. His legacy will prevail, and I can bat that when we start making comparisons after Nana Addo's 4 years, you will come to appreciate the worth of John Mahama. God bless our homeland Ghana.
