As a nation we need to have a national policy in this area to guide and direct investment.
What we are doing now has too much party clouring and will not be sustainable.

How do you get revenue if the big companies don't pay taxes? Even those already there are evading taxes by bribing their way out of bonded warehouses.

Why don't you grant 100% capital allowance on all capital investments to manufacturing companies instead of the current 10% to 30% so that manufacturing companies have available and are encouraged to use 100% of their interna ...

Why don't you grant 100% capital allowance on all capital investments to manufacturing companies instead of the current 10% to 30% so that manufacturing companies have available and are encouraged to use 100% of their internally generated profits to plow back all their profits into reinvesting and growing their companies much more quicker than they would have been able to do. This way local manufacturing companies do not have to keep borrowing with short term loans to finance long term investments. This type of tax incentive would be much more beneficial to grow industries and generate more employment and in line with the one district one factory cncept.

Very good idea. Manufacturing companies who want to reinvest and expand should not have to pay 25% in corporate taxes and then go out and again borrow to finance their investments. This policy will help industries help thems ...

Its daft for our governments to think that foreign and multinational companies would rescue Ghana, this fallacy has resulted in government policies favouring foreign-owned business whilst KILLER POLICIES are given to Ghanaian and local businesses.

I am very confident that if these stupid policies spearheaded by the NDC government are not scrapped within a year a large number of genuine Ghanaian businesses would be forced to close.

I owe a business in Ghana and have been running it for the past eleven years but killer policies year in and year out have made me decide to close it, if I do not see a change in direction within a year
